Spread across 6,900 sq ft of retail area and spread over 4 floors, the adidas flagship Halo store is all about merging local architecture with the essence of the brand’s design DNA. Central to the whole store experience is its lighting, managed by lighting partner ILC.
Says Ishween Kaur, CMO of ILC, speaking about the adidas flagship store project, “The new store design takes consumer experience a few notches up with its digital touch points and exclusive zones for sustainability, customization & football. It was imperative for us as lighting partners of the project to not only highlight all those elements efficiently, but also make sure that the lights being supplied were aesthetically pleasing.”
Elaborating further she shares, “This project was very different from the other stores that we have done for the brand in the past and the entire product range supplied was customised, keeping the specific brand requirements in mind. We have supplied top notch high lumen output anti-glare LED lights, with highly efficient reflectors and BIS registered ripple free drivers so that the store gets maximum lighting performance and output while being energy efficient at the same time.”
Brand Requirements for Project
Choosing a lighting partner is a crucial step for any project execution since there are various grades of quality when it comes to LED lighting products. In this case, the brand wanted a lighting partner who understood the store design concept, was supportive, reliable and offered products of the highest quality. Also, since this was the first flagship store, which had its lighting requirementsspecific to different zones, the brand wanted product specialists who had the technical efficiency to do customisation, while meeting the demands of fixture quality, colour (CCT), consistency, light output, volume and time. ILC was thus an apt choice, as the company boasts of a fully integrated manufacturing infrastructure, capable of producing ingenious LED lighting products consistently.
ILC has a huge area for product assembly with SMT assembly capacity of 4.8M Pcs per 24hrs and final product assembly capacity of 48K pcs per 10 hrs. The company’s six manufacturing plants spread across Delhi/NCR to Uttarakhand have a combined manufacturing capacity of over 10 million fixtures annually. Says Ishween Kaur, “Our stringent focus on quality and robustness of the entire infrastructure setup keep us a level ahead when it comes to delivering our lighting solutions & services in a timely, quality rich manner.”
