Abhinav Iyer, General Manager - Marketing & Strategy, Muthoot Finance & The Muthoot Group, New Delhi, is part of the Jury for the Outdoor Advertising Awards 2022 contest that is underway.
Over the last 8 years, Abhinav has led a plethora of transformational marketing initiatives in Muthoot Finance, including the engagement of Amitabh Bachchan as the Brand Ambassador, partnering with Chennai Super Kings as their Principal Team Partner, associating with India Super League and Jaipur Pink Panthers, to name a few.
Abhinav has designed and launched many thought-provoking, high-impact marketing campaigns, such as, ‘Soch Badaliye’, ‘Life Mein Aagey Badhiye’, and ‘One Visit Loan’, for the brand, in the highly competitive Gold Loan category. Each of these campaigns has hugely contributed to expanding the Gold Loan category by bringing about an attitudinal transformation in the minds of loan seekers.
His love for innovation and urge to create a strong brand identity for Muthoot Finance based on the brand’s core value of ‘Trust’ led to the highly awarded activation campaign ‘Muthoot Vishwaas Ki Tijori’ at Kumbh Mela in 2019. He was responsible for acquiring the branding and semi-naming rights of the Greater Kailash Metro Station in Delhi, followed by the Nandanam Metro Station in Chennai.
Earlier, Abhinav was heading Bank of Baroda UK’s marketing function in London for several years. Prior to that, while in India, he also led Bank of Baroda’s Business Transformation Initiative launching the highly successful Retail Loan Factories across India. Emerging as the blue eyed boy of the Bank, he was one of the youngest officers to be posted abroad.
Abhinav’s leadership and marketing efforts have also led Muthoot Finance to win many laurels at Abby’s 2019, Golden Mikes 2019, Primetime Awards 2019, Economic Times BFSI Awards 2020, NEONS 2020, Indian Content Marketing Awards 2020 and most the Indian Marketing Awards 2021 earlier this month.

Winners of OAA 2022 will receive the coveted Metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake hotel on August 18, 2022 evening, just after the conclusion of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022. The Awards will be given away by highly accomplished Brand Marketers, and International OOH leaders.
